This series of data portraits depicts power flows and organizational dynamics of hospital systems in the US. As trust in hospitals erode and alienation is reproduced, the ability to give and receive quality care within these institutions appears unsustainable. This series of data portraits act as non-linear maps of the artist’s research into the complex causes and consequences of the qualities which have come to define our hospitals such as metric fixation and shareholder interests.
