When COVID-19 hit the US in March, it left millions jobless. The newly unemployed waited months without State support while sluggish state unemployment systems were backlogged. All across the United States people were socially isolating and struggling to support themselves and their families.
I undertook a rapid prototype process to design a tool that could help communities connect and support each other.

What else is out there? What gaps exist?
Q:
It needed to be accessible and easy to use so it didn't leave marginalized groups out, like the unhoused by requiring a home address to use it.
It needed to be free so people who were struggling financially could get what they needed.
It should be intuitive to use right away without onboarding.
